I have been getting my 240 back into shape. Rotors and calipers all around, parking brake shoes, cap, rotor, wires, flame trap, timing belt and tensioner, harmonic balancer, air and oil filters, cleaned out throttle body .
It runs great and stops.
1. What have I left out that I should do?
2. Is there an IAC on a 1987 240 and does it need to be cleaned out? Or is there only the AMM to control mixture?
3. What is the breather box that posters have been referring to, and does it need maintenance?
Thanks for all responses. I sure wish I knew my way around the B6304 in my 960, like I do the B230F , but with only 60,000 on it I haven't had any problems to attack. Wish I could say that for the brakes. It continually blows out rear pads and rotors!
