Replacing my timing belt and crank seal 200

So, this weekend I will try to get the brick back into shape.

I will be replacing the timing belt and the front crank seal.

I have done this once before, but I am always afraid of not being able to put on the belt correctly and messing things up.

Is there an easy way to make sure things line up?

If I use white-out and mark the lines on the belt to the various pulleys and then put the belt back on, will this guarantee a correct fit?

Also what should I use to push the new crank seal into place. I believe the manual reference a special tool, but it sucks to have to pay for that just for a single use.

Thanks
