autotransmission 1st to 2nd gear 200

I have a 245, 1989, 150KMiles. Normally from 1st to 2nd gear it is switching around 2000, 2500 rpm, smooth. But sometimes it does not want to switch, it drags on into 3000, 3500 rpm, and the switching is abrupt. It is doing it very seldom, mostly when the car is warmed up already. I changed the transmission oil, applied some transmission addetive, I think it got somewhat better. Any idea what should I do? Thanks Gabe
