Window Winder Lever Stuck on 200 1980

Hi

I'm in the middle of removing the door lining on my driver's side door (right side here in Australia), and the window winder lever is stuck hard on. I've checked the other side, and, after removing the central screw, it slides off as easily as anything.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, was there a solution?
