AC Clutch Noise 200 1990

Using a rubber hose as a stethoscope, I have discovered that the clutch on my AC compressor is the source of a low squealing noise, with or without the AC running. I had my system (1990 240)converted over to the new refrigerant two years ago. Is there any fix to the clutch assembly without having to pull or replace the compressor? Is it possible that I am just low on refrigerant oil?
