My sunroof won't open very far. I took some of it apart, lubed the cables and put it back together. It worked fine a few times, now won't open again. The gear above the crank handle was already clogged up with junk.

1. Does anyone have any advice or insights about how to take the system apart and repair or replace the cables?

2. Does the headliner need to be removed?

3. Where is a good place to buy replacement parts if I need them?

4. One of the two screw holes that hold the cranking mechanism to the ceiling is stripped. Any ideas on the best way to repair this or retap it?
