I have read and reread the FAQs and am confused. I am clear on the fact that the turbo has no flame trap, but does have the associated hoses that need to be cleaned or replace.

I thought the simplest thing would be to just replace the hoses, figuring that after 8 years and 80K miles they were due. But my confusion comes from the location of the hoses to replace.

From the FAQs:

"The flame trap is located (buried is more truthful) under the intake manifold between headers 3 and 4"

That sounds like it would be hard to get to to replace the hoses. On the other hand, the IPD catalog says:

"Beginning with 1988 models, the filter was relocated above the intake manifold for easy access. Our kit includes everything you need to convert your Volvo to the new configuration, including detailed instructions. This turns a job that can take up to an hour on some models into a 5 minute service."

I have a 1995 and am hoping that it is only a 5 minute service. Does anyone have any pictures which show which hoses we are talking about and how easy or hard they are to reach? How about a description of the parts (Volvo part numbers would be really great)?
