Car won't stay running 700 1991

1991 Volvo 740 Turbo Wgn

Car has been running fine,
Started driving then it felt like it lost power like it was out of gas and then it drove fine. The next morning I started the car and it died after about 10 seconds. It got worse throughout the day. Thought I might have got a bad tank of gas. Put gas anti-freeze and filled up. Now it wont even idle. It starts but then dies right away, like it is not gettin enough gas. You have to keep your foot on the gas pedal in order to keep it running.
