stuck distributor 200 1984

Hi all. I am trying to adjust the timing on my 84 242Ti. I've loosened the distributor hold down bolt, but the thing won't budge. I've tried prying on it, leveraging between the PS pump and the vaccum unit, but I don't want to push too hard there because the vaccum unit is likely to bust off. Does anybody have any suggestions for dealing with this?
