Autobox trouble 700

Before adjustment, my car changed gear at around 2500 rpm. I got this down to about 2000 rpm but for fourth gear it is all the way up by 3000 rpm. This means that at 50 mph, I´m still in 3rd gear! What can I do? Just play about with the adjustments?
