Uh oh, head gasket time? 700 1987

I notice that my coolant reservoir is a little low, getting down towards "Min". I opened it and had a look, and the coolant itself was nice and green, very clean looking, but the inside of the plastic reservoir itself had a thin black residue above the coolant level, that I'm pretty sure is oil.

No coolant is mixed with the oil that I can see on the oil dipstick, when I check that.

Is this trouble? If not headgasket, maybe heater core? Maybe nothing to worry about, I hope?
