Advice on possible purchase - 1989 240 GL 200 1989

Hello,

I'd like to hear some feedback on a possible purchase of a Volvo.
Here's the stuff:

1989 240 GL Sedan

230K miles

Important stuff works, windows, A/C, sunroof, etc.

Radio didn't turn on.

Couldn't tell if heated seats were working or not.

Leather in pretty good shape.

Brake light out indicator came on, not sure if they're actually not
working though... I saw another brick that had that as an
extra "feature" everytime the brakes were pushed, is it a normal
problem?

Other dash lights (red ones) would sort of strobe when the brakes
were pushed. Then they went away when the brakes were let off.
Electrical or real problem?

Obligatory dash board crack is in the invisible part of the dash!

The engine heat gauge was in the little orange zone the whole time I
was test driving it, maybe 20 minutes, except once at a stop light it
went down a little, and when I turned it off. Possibly just a
thermostat? What else could it be?

Tires looked like 40% (?)

Under the hood was very clean, except a little wet spot by the oil
filter. Compared to everything else I've ever owned, it was
immaculate.

Price: $2400
Any suggestions? Is that a good price? Anything else I should look
for? Oh and its a nice metallic blue color. Very stylin'

Thanks,

Russell Mann
