Hi board,
Been a while since I have had anything, good for me I guess. On my 91 740 n/a, would it harm the engine if I installed a cone filter? I have done some research prior to consulting the advice of the board and some say if the MAF reads too much coming in you can destroy your engine because of faulty airflow readings on the Voltage scale. The reason I ask is I have been seeing them here and there and figured, "ahh what the heck, nice project, build a heatshield and see what happens!" Being a n/a car I know I should not expect much but if it is going to jeopordize the longevity of the brick, NO WAY :)
