Paging Gary Innes: Re plug wires... 140-160

Hi Gary I have just finished stripping all the parts off a 75 164,(that I will use for my 74 164)whose carcass will be hauled away tommorrow. Had a look at the plug wires which I believe to be original. They are red. German writing on them. Also there is an extra rubber boot at the spark plug end attached to a plastic connector which must be the resistor you spoke of. I removed "the brain " from the car which may be of use to you but probably wouldnt work on my 74 as it has a different ignition setup. This car was an accident writeoff ,front left fender and hood damage so I suspect the ECU is still in excellent shape if you need a spare. Karl PS. Ever see any old Triumph TR3A parts cars at a wrecker or in a barn down there in rust free Arizona? :-)
