'93 940 B230F engine mounts 900 1993

I need to replace the engine mounts on my '93 940 w/B230F. How do I determine if my car needs rubber vs. hydraulic mounts? Is there anything particular to look for on my existing mounts to see what type are they?

Another question: considering the hefty price for hydraulics, is there any real point replacing solid rubber mounts hydraulics?
