13.1 sec 760 I might buy.... 700

This guy says his car did a 13.1 sec 1/4 mile in his 84 760 sedan. This is with 8 inch slicks, m46, B21 conversion (not b23) 7.0 compression and 17psi ,B23 fuel and ignition, cold air intake (no filter), Jeep limited slip, lowered 1.5 inches, 3 inch exhaust under rear axle with cat right after turbo, 2.5-3inch exhaust adapter (homemade) right after turbo, electric fans always on, centerforce dual frcition clutch (now broken after only one year. He says the clutch slips not the tranny). 1990 manifold with t3 with clipped blades "to spool turbo faster" according to him. The car has a spare t3 w/ old style manifold and a spare intercooler in the trunk. HKS super sequential blow off valve. MVP rising rate fuel pressure regulator in trunk. Wont work on b21. Too rich. Full interior. I dont know if he did the 13.1 with the b21 or b23. will find out soon. He also disconnected AC, power steering, watercooled turbo, and heater hoses (says will keep engine cooler. I think the heater core will HELP keep the water cooler.) He said that it dynoed at 265 HP at the wheels. I drove it and it does NOT feel like a 13 second car. My 15.7 second 740 wagon feels faster. Is this guy full of it? ALso how can i tell if the tranny is slipping and not the clutch? The gear selector is very sloppy and it is hard to find each gear. Second gear grinds if you arent careful. Can I just adjust the shift linkage to fix this? Also he has the b23 fuel and igniton sys on the b21 engine. Is this OK? I can buy the car for 1000 dollars. The parts alone are worth more than that. The car looks like crap and the steering wheel is 90 degrees in the wrong direction. (ie wheel is turned left 90 deg when going straight. He said he didnt know what that problem was. DO you guys. Do you think his car is even sub 14? I frequent turbobricks and people there seem to be only doing low 14's with more parts than this. For 1000 bucks I can strip all the good parts, put them on my 1990 740turbo wagon and resell the car for the same price or more. Oh yeah, and the temp guage doenst go to 12 oclock. It only goes to about 9 or 10 oclock. He says thats good because less chance of detonation. I thinks its bad because i dont think the car runs at the correct operating temp. Maybe its a misreading or the 84 guage is supposed to be like that. Let me know what you guys think about this car.
