Volvo Mechanic in Northern NJ 200

I am temporarily in NJ while looking for work in New England. Need to have my front muffler replaced. Luckily, there is a Volvo shop 1 block away. It's called Rawbear -- anyone heard of them? They got good marks on Cartalk.com's mechanic files. But I am not sure that I really liked the guy when I stopped by to ask how much it is to replace a front muffler. I got the feeling that he was treating me like a girl. I guess I could always drop it off and have him talk to the man of the house. In any case, if anyone knows of a good Volvo mechanic or if anyone has had good luck with the chain places replacing front mufflers (VIP, etc.) please let me know.
