AC Idle Up Speed Too Low 200

I'm hoping to get some help with an AC problem. The car is a 1981 242 with B21F and fairly new R134a AC system. Problem: With AC on, idle up speed is too low and engine dies at stop signs when I put in the clutch. The only time it will die like this without the AC on is on a cold morning before the engine is warm. When car is warm and AC off, it never dies. Is there typically an adjustment for idle up speed? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
