took apart the drivers side power window switch today in order to make the window go up as well as down. i took the switch completely apart, cleaned the metal parts, gave the metal pieces a slight outward bend to ensure a good connnection, and put it back together. the window still refused to go up regularly, with down being the only way it worked consistantly. i then replaced the drivers switch with that of the front passengers switch from the drivers door handle. i'm not sure what i did to cause it, but suddenly none of the switches worked. activating the switches didn't even register on the volt gauge as it always had previously. i'm stuck here everyone, hope you can help me out. thanks.
