What to drill/slot for Camber adjustment 700

Lack of negative camber (hard cornering) is causing my front tires to wear their outer edges. I've read the FAQ's and archives, so I understand I can either slot the forward holes in the strut towers or I can redrill or slot the strut top plate. What are the pro's and cons of each approach?
