thinking of buyiung a 940 900

I've always owned 240s but I just totaled mine last Monday. It stinks it only had 221K on it!
Anyway I'm thinking of getting a 940 or 960, possibly a turbo. Any opinions on either model and whether there are any model years I should stay away from?
