faulty fuel presure regulator 900

Hey everyone what are the symtpoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator and i read that if it is faulty it will throw out the code for faulty fuel injectors has this happened to anybody? Also the ecu water temp sensor if faulty would it make the car not run rite like jump around with idle and not be able to go over 1500rpms with out it trying to stall apreciate the info.
