Relining a B230FT block?

I am in the process of gathering the components to have a rebuilt engine ready for my wife's car a 90 760T. I just bought a used block (U PULL R Parts) for 65 bucks, not much invested. However, despite my intitial assessment, my mechanic friend sez it has a significant ridge. What are people's experience with having this ridge reamed out, or having the cylinder liners replaced. How much should that cost if it is an option. thanks in advance.
