Checked today's mail and found a new ipd catalog. Yippie.

In the process of reading it, I got the feeling IPD is selling a bunch of
useless crap at vasty inflated prices. Oil additives, gimmicky AF meters,
glove box organizers, and cup holders.

I think my favorites were the $60 g-valve (about $5 worth of parts, page
six) and the front page ad for the "temperature board by-pass kit". Their
temp compensating board kit is a “harness” to revert to the
“trouble-free” previous design..... for which they wanted the
ever so modest sum of $14.50.

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but can't one bypass the temp compensating board
with ONE WIRE? That's sure one expensive wire IPD's selling, almost up
there with their tb cleaning kit ($20 for a $2 can of carb cleaner, a
$0.75 gasket, and a few brushes).
