Here is a few things that happend in a short time.One after another.
1) The "inner tierod ends" go bad. OK, I replace them. Still I here another clunk up front. I replace "balljoint".Clunking gone. Kool.
Hours later-
2) Get a "blow out on hiway".OK, fix tire and replace the mud flap.
Ok, now lets enjoy a VOLVO.
3) Now thats fixed,the next morning the "gas gauge stops working".I replace the sending unit and all is fixed.But.. while at the J-Yard I picked up a TACH-
4) Picked up a "TACH" at J-Yard from a 740TI to put in my 240DL.
(It was the only VOLVO Tach in the J-yard).
It did not fit.
I modified the dash panel.Yes,it looks stock.
Ok, now lets go and enjoy this VOLVO..Later this night-
5) Rolling up the manual driver side "door window","the window gets stuck"(off track). I try rolling it down. Pushing lightly down on the window rim.
It shatters."MAN O MAN".
Ok,get window and replace.
Ok,lets see if I can get a block down the road with out breakage.LOL!
6) Now the rear "axle berings"are bad....When will it stop. LOL!
I just went 5 rounds with this VOLVO. I don't want to do 5 more.
LOL!,VOLVO-GOTTA LUV EM!! "I guess it could be worse"
