How do I tell what rear shocks I have without physically getting into the rear end? This is an'88 740 Turbo wagon, manual tranny, solid rear axle. I intend to do shocks/struts and tires on all four corners before we drive from New Mexico to Washington state, and in pricing parts I see a quantum difference between Nivomat and non-Nivomat rear ends. So what do I have?
