hi, i've got a 1980 244 dl that i've been working on, and the wiring in the harness just above the engine along the inside of the hood nearest the dashboard had to be replaced. it's that part where there's a big gray connector with seven different colored wires running through it- blue, green, red, black, brown, yellow-blue, and yellow. most of 'em aren't too tough to figure out, i just follow them out, but i have a problem with two, because they haven't been connected, apparently: brown and green. my car suddenly dies whenever it gets warmed up; my mechanic says this is probably a wiring problem associated with the coolant temperature regulator. this makes sense, and i have a suspicion that it's the wires. the haynes manual isn't too clear on colors of wires; does anybody know where they go? thanks.
