Door harness repairs needed? 200 1990

My passenger side speakers work intermittently, depending on the size of pot holes I hit. My driver side speakers do not work at all.

So I think there's something wrong with wires at the door hinge. Probably because the driver side doors are used the most often.

How do I repair these wires? Perhaps it's not the wires at all? Anybody with similar experience ?
