Hot rubber smell,5 years old Michelin MXV4 and Arctic Alpin,is it normal? 700

Front tires hot and smells of burnt rubber smell after even short trips(10 min)in summer with either all season or winter tires.
Is it just older tires burning off more easily as they ages of not the tires at all and something else.Brake fluid seems normal and not low.
One caliper rubber boot was broken when I replaced the pads one yr ago,but the smell is from both sides
