Man I hate brake lines 200 1989

Finally starting the brake job I have been putting off for 2 years. My flex hoses have bubbles in them now, so its really time. Its not going too well so far. I soaked the stupid fittings with liquid wrench (Can't seem to get Pblaster in Canada). I have the proper flare nut wrenches, and I still rounded one off, and snapped the flare nut right off on the second one I tried. All I can say is thank the Lord my parts car has a couple of good lines or I would be pulling my hair out right now. Anybody got any secret methods for getting them undone. I do have a method but I hate doing it. I heat them with a torch and then douse them with water. It actually works great, the lines come right undone, but there is a fine line between heating the fittings enough and having a brake hose explode, and getting hot brake fluid in your face (I learned this the hard way), not to mention that brake fluid catches fire.
