I have a black 1989 760 turbo sedan, and it has a few problems. I need a new drivers seat belt because it got cut (my seat was all screwed up and we had to take it out to fix the gears. when we put the seat back in, he claimed there wasnt enough slack on the belt to get the seat's controls back on, so he cut the belt. also, he broke the device that the seat belt coils up in. i guess i need one of those but i dont know if it comes with a new seat belt or what).

my drivers side window is also screwed up... it doesnt role up all the way. i took off my door panel and noticed that the sheet metal that the window mechanism is bolted onto has deteriorated such that when i role the window up and down, the bolts don't really stay in place. when i role the window all the way up, the back goes to the top but the front part of the window is an inch short.

the next thing is the turn signals.... sometimes they die out on me, and i have to hit the dashboard to get it working. also, when i hit the brakes hard when the turn signal is supposed to be working, it sometimes kicks it back to work. also, just to note, the signals inside AND outside of the car stop working when this happens.

the last thing is my turbo. one day, my battery died, and this kid recharged it with one of those chargers that was charged with a cigarette lighter in his car. he put one of the wires (i guess the ground) on a plate real close to the turbo, and when i started the car it sparked. so now when i drive around, my turbo meter only goes halfway even when i floor it. i have no idea whats wrong with it...

i'm a college student but i have alot of good things going on around me. a friend of a friend just opened an auto shop so he could fix a few things. my dad also is willing to pay for some of the important things (seat belt and turn signals, probally not turbo) but i also could pay for some things that he doesnt want to get fixed.
