I've got a 91 940GLE with 230K on it, and 6-7 years ago I had the AC converted over to the new style freon (can't remember what its called).
Well, its developed a leak over the past few years, and every summer I recharge it using one of the kits you buy at the local auto parts store, and it seems to last almost the summer.
My question is, along with the recharge kits, I see cans of AC leak-stop, and AC oil. Is the can of leak stop to be used in addition to the can of recharge freon, or does the can of leak stop also contain the freon? If the leak-stop doesn't contain the freon, after you add the leak stop, is there still room in the AC system for the freon?
I don't want to spend much money on this problem, so any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Mad Finn
