Water by fuel feed?? condensation? 700

Hello, I live in Maryland and we have crazy weather, it will change faster than you can. It has been hot and rainy then cold and rainy, then muggy and humid. Just in case the weather plays a part...

The board on top of my spare had been getting soaking wet. Whan I finaly took the time it had started to rot & mold. I found a small hole in my trunk and I sealed it. I let the whole trunk dry for a week before I put my tools and such back in. Today I went back to grab a couple of things and one of my tool bags was soaked! In the same spot it had been before! I pulled everything out of the trunk. Down to metal, covers and all. I found a connector with 5 formed tubes running to I believe the fuel pump/filter. the connector/feeder was wet, along with the wall it was on. Soaked. There was a puddle in the spare well. I went over the whole trunk with a flashlight and found nothing that shouldn't be there.

I have no idea why this connector would be sheading so much moisture. It's on the front wall of the spare well. What is it and how the hell do I fix it??? My mechanic is on vacation, if it has anything to do with messing with fuel stuff. (I'm not risking that)
