700 FAQ's-question on ScanTech head gasket set from FCP Groton

In the FAQ on head gasket replacement it says:

...But replace the head gasket in the kit with a FelPro brand head gasket from any local parts shop because of its high quality.

Does this mean to discard the head gasket that comes with the Scantek kit, and get a Felpro ??

(seems a bit odd, but I thought I should ask before I attempt this)
