Hello Everyone:

I just redid the head gasket on my 1988 240 wagon.

Bentleys gives a spec for tightening the crankshaft pulley bolt of:

stage 1: 44 ft-lb
stage 2: an additional 1/6 turn (90 degrees)

The stage 2 instruction is obviously a misprint, since 1/6 turn is 60 degrees.

Does anybody know the correct value, 60 degrees or 90 degrees??
