ignition coil- secondary resistance 200 1985

I measured the secondary resistance on two ignition coils (same Bosch p/n). One indicates 8500 Ohms. The other coil shows 11900 Ohms. Both are outside of the tolerance range specified by the manufacturer (9600 to 11600 Ohms): Does anybody know what happens to the resistance value as the part accumulates years of use? Is it supposed to decrease or increase...?

Thanks
