Need a bit of help with the lower control arm bushings...

I do a lot of the wrench twisting on my 245 myself.
Timing belts, brakes, park brakes, clutch, strut cartridges, front and rear springs, etc....

This is the first time I am attempting to tackle the lower control arm bushings.

I haven't started in on the job yet - so before I do......

1.) Is this a backyard capable job?

2.) Will the lower control arm come loose without having to remove the entire strut??

3.) - estimated time to completion for first attempt (allowing time for some practice of expansionary vocabulary.)

Any other advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance
