Just replaced timing belt and now it doesn't run well... 200 1980

Just finished replacing a broken timing belt. The car fired right up and when warm, idled low. Took it for a test drive and it runs smooth but has no low end power, almost feels like it is loaded up. Eventually gets up to speed.

Questions:

Am I a tooth or so off?

Can I adjust the distributor to resolve?

Can I drive it like that without damaging anything? I have been working in a parking lot where it died. I would like to get home to the garage.

Thanks,
Mike
