Start Problems 700

I just bought a 92, 740. Today after I drove it for a little, I turned it off for an inspection and when I tried to turn it on, it would crank but not turn on. I towed it to my house, and as soon as it came off the truck, I cranked it and it turned on as if it never had a problem. I used it the day before all day with many on-off's with no problem. Suggestions?
