940/760 motor swap 700 1993

will a '93 940 motor fit in an '87 760 wagon? The motors look identical,both are turbos. I'm wondering if there would be computer diffs between those years and if using computer parts from the smashed up 940 would be necessary. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim Stuart.
