AMM connection 700

Generally my '86 760T runs smooth and powerful, but occassionally it loses all power so the car will barely inch forward even with the accelerator against the floor. At such times, I turn off the engine, disconnect and then connect the AMM, start the engine, and all is well again until the next occurence. I have checked the voltage and resistance at the AMM connector and and computer, and everything checks according to specifications except for one thing. The green ground wire (#2?) shows a resistance of 4 ohms rather than the specified less than 1 ohm. I read the same 4 ohms both at the AMM conector and the computer. So I suspect a faulty ground connection inside the computer. However, I always read that 4 ohm resistance, but, like I said, generally the car runs well. So I am not sure that 4 ohm resistance is what makes the car lose power occasionally. I sure will be happy to read and follow through your suggestions. Best regards.
