After replacing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition module and fuel pressure regulator, the *** car won't fire.
The distributor cap had lots of carbon on it and theplastic shield over the cap had a mirror image of the cap part number etched into it. The ignition module had a white deposit almost covering the bottom side with a couple of small holes showing in it and another place where it had a small crack and carbon marks indicating overheating. The fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose had an odor of gasoline so it too was replaced. The crank position sensor hasn't been replaced, but I'm going to remove it and Autozone says they have the aparatus to test it before I spend another $55 trying to fix it.
Possibly all the above parts were due to be replaced, but I'm tired of throwing parts at this car. Help!!
