Knowing Your Car

I went to my favorite small car parts place in Springfield Va. the other morning to get tie rod ends for my 965. The guy looked up the part number, got the parts and put them on the counter. Off he went to ring them up. I checked them and they were for 740's, 760's and 940's. I told him they were the wrong ones and he checked another book. He then produced the correct ones, which are longer and curved, with a left and right version.

It pays to know your car and what the various parts look like. Luckily I checked the parts before hand.

Regards
