90 765T Sometimes Starter Just Clicks, Always Starts With Remote

Oftentimes when I turn the key, the dash lights up but the starter just clicks once. This seems to have started this summer. It has happened after the car was parked for 4 days. It also happens frequently after driving and then sitting for like 15-30 minutes (if driven and then stopped and then immediately started again, it starts). Whenever I use the Crimestopper remote starter it has, it ALWAYS starts.

Could this be fixed with a relay switch? If so, would this override the starter kill of the burlgar alarm?

My mechanic said Volvo would have put a relay switch there, if it had needed it.
