Floormats Dying ? 700

I was at the junkyard and got 3 floormats (Could not find the 4th)
They are pretty nice from the 940 model. I guess it would probably
fit the 740 too. Color is beige.
But one has some white spots which looks very much like
the bleach/clorox spots. Now I was thinking, what if I buy a
darkblonde hairdye and treat the floormats with that.
Well, the floormats are probably synthetic material,
so I'm not sure, what's going to happen.

Question: Has anybody ever dyed/colored his/her floormats/carpets ?/!/?
And what were the results?
