i just put a 2002 corvette z06 engine in my 1991 740 and man is it fast. I live in Rockaway, NY and my uncle had recently destroyed his black 50, 000 dollar corvette racing it on the LIE. He is a mult-millionare stock brocker and he decided to let me have his corvette, all smashed and everyhting. I took it to my friend, TOny's garage and told him what i wanted to do and as a side project for him and I we put the unique 405-horsepower LS6 V8 engine and six-speed manual into my 1991 blue 740. AS the months went by i got more and more excited. We had to completely change the 740, new exhaust, crankshaft, the works. Luckily, i didnt have to spend a dime because i sold the wrecked corvette to some guy for 12,000 dollars. When we finally finished 8mnths later, my volvo flew from 0-60 in 4 seconds and a top speed of 180mph. ill be back later to tell you more.... justin
