1993 240 with R134a.
Had it recharged 2 weeks ago, but mechanic said charge was fine.
Problem: Take a trip- works great!
Next trip - no cooling.
Next time - works great
Next time - works great
Next time -hotter than hell!

so, what gives on it's apparently fickle operation? I'm thinking pressure switch.
