Will '93 240 A/C Condensor fit '82 240 ? 200 1982

I checked the FCP groton website & they have a a/c condensor for the '93 240 (The only year for R-134a) with its own unique part #. If this is larger that the stock one I have & logic would dictate that for R-134a it would be. Would anyone know if it can be adapted to the '82 240 ? I assume that there were no real changes to the inner structure so it could be adapted but what about hoses & fittings?
