Car starts hard. Could ignition coil be weak? I've replaced:
1. distributor cap and rotor
2. plug wires
3. ignition coil wire
4. plugs
5. fuel pump
6. fuel filter
7. fuel pressure regulator
Car has 215k miles, ignition coil looks original (13 years old). I can get a new one for $144 on the internet. Am I crazy for thinking about replacing this coil as preventative maintainace, and would a poor coil sometimes make for hard starting? This is a Rex I coil, I think.
I'm a beginner D-I-Yer. I have a lot to learn and without Brickboard I wouldn't be able to afford owning a Volvo, so I appreciate your advice!
