something leaking on interior 200

the inside of my 1990 240DL sedan is leaking on the passenger side both in the back seat and the front seat. it appears as if the surface of the floorboard is absorbing the leak or something like that. i wonder if the drainage systems are clogged, if that is possible.... any suggestions would be helpful. thanks
